Energy and innovation will headline the content lineup for the 2025 South Carolina Manufacturing and Expo.
The annual event, sponsored by SC Biz News and set for Nov. 5-6 at the Greenville Convention Center, features several breakout content sessions with topical discussions, including manufacturing’s role in South Carolina’s strategy to meet the rising energy demand and pressure on its power grid, as well as sessions on lean processes, digital optimization, supply chain, closing the technical skills gap and building a top-to-bottom manufacturing innovation ecosystem in South Carolina.

This year’s conference will feature several keynote speakers, including Tony Deering, founder and CEO of Ladson-based R2P Innovations, which was recently named the country’s fastest-growing manufacturer by revenue in Inc. 5000’s latest ranking; Jody Chastain, president and CEO of Columbia-based Ritedose; Joe Klecha, chief nuclear officer of Columbia-based The Nuclear Company; and Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette.
The South Carolina Manufacturing Conference and Expo will also showcase its two flagship recognition events: the second-annual Manufacturing Mavens, which celebrates female leadership in South Carolina’s manufacturing sector, and Palmetto Proud, with highlights South Carolina-made products and the companies behind them.
Also on hand this year is Clemson University’s Deep Orange 16 Disaster Response Vehicle, a semi-autonomous concept designed by Clemson automotive engineering students merging advanced technology with mission-critical functionality.
New this year is the Palmetto Stage, an interactive platform on the expo floor where the content sessions and recognition events will be held, drawing attendees and exhibitors closer to the action. An Innovation Stage will feature breakout sessions from manufacturing industry experts.
In addition to the content lineup, the 2025 South Carolina Manufacturing Conference and Expo will showcase the latest trends in manufacturing on its expo floor, affording attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to grow their businesses and improve their processes, as well as make connections with key stakeholders in South Carolina’s manufacturing industry.
