NSP Panels invests $4.75M in Marion County operations

is establishing operations in Mullins, investing $4.75 million into its new facility with 63 new jobs.

The acoustic panel manufacturer offers both commercial and residential products for absorptive and decorative wall panels, as well as accessories for floors, walls and ceilings, according to a news release.

“From day one, Marion County and state partners have welcomed us with exceptional support,” Ed Bass, NSP Panels CEO, said in the release. “We’re excited to bring new jobs and investment to the area and look forward to building strong relationships as we grow our presence in South Carolina.”

NSP Panels said South Carolina operations will be located at 3630 W. Highway 76 in a 129,000-square-foot facility. Operations for the panels and moldings are online.

The Commerce Department’s Coordinating Council for provided a $300,000 grant awarded to Marion County to assist with building costs.

“We are proud to welcome NSP Panels to Marion County. This investment reflects the strength of our workforce and the opportunities our community offers, and we look forward to the jobs and growth it will bring to our county,” Dewayne Tennie, Marion County Council chairman, said in the release.
