Kentucky-based Ironline Metals, a steel framing products manufacturer, is expanding operations in Hampton County.

The South Carolina Department of Commerce said the expanded facility, located at 39 Jenks St. in Yamessee, will bring a $6.5 million investment with 20 new jobs.

“South Carolina offers an exceptional workforce and a strong business environment, and we are proud to expand our operations in the region,” Sebastian Higdon, president of Ironline Metals, said in a news release. “This investment allows us to increase capacity, better serve our customers and create new opportunities for local families.”

Operations in the expansion are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2026, according to the release. The facility will continue to manufacture steel studs, metal decks, fasteners and ties.

“Ironline Metals’ expansion directly reflects the success of South Carolina’s manufacturing industry,” Gov. Henry McMaster said in the release. “With the creation of 20 new jobs, Ironline Metals will continue contributing to our state’s development and providing opportunities for families across Hampton County.”

“Ironline Metals is an important member of our industrial community and a major employer,” Hampton County Council Chairman Dr. Roy Hollingsworth said in the release. “We are grateful for their continued investment in our people as their operations flourish in Hampton County. Each of the 20 jobs in this expansion will create a better opportunity and brighter future for a family in the region.”
