One of the anchor events of the SC Manufacturing Conference and Expo will be the WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BREAKFAST: Meeting the Needs of the Manufacturing Community. This annual event, which kicks off the conference on Tuesday morning, will feature top-level manufacturing executives discussing workforce development issues critical to the state’s manufacturing community. Tackling the skills gap issue has been a top-priority for years, if not decades. South Carolina’s continued emergence as a manufacturing hub requires a solution.
The morning will begin with a continental breakfast and networking at 7:30 a.m. A keynote speech will follow at 8 a.m. Then a panel discussion, beginning at 8:30 a.m. will round out the event.
The event will be held at the TD Convention Center on the conference floor at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11th. Seating limited. Cost: $35.
